Despite a business model that actually created assets for the BoP population, Robinson recalls that “Access to investment—both debt and equity—was probably the greatest challenge for us in starting Juhudi Kilimo.” His advice: “The process of fundraising can be long and exhausting, but in the end, very rewarding.”
